The Goddess’s Laws

The Saint-Marked baby Su Wan was abandoned in the Mechanical Ruins. At eighteen, she awakened her golden finger, “Core Resonance,” which let her form mental links with the remnants of ancient mechs and repair and enhance them. While repairing mechs for people on the black market to make ends meet, she accidentally activated the Starfall-class mech “Divine Punishment,” dormant for a thousand years, unleashing a tide of mechanical beasts across the continent. With her precise mech piloting and the power of her Saint Mark, she rose from an “ill-omened girl” hunted by the Mechanical Cult to the “Mechanical Goddess” leading the free city-states against the beast tide. In the midst of battle, she also uncovered her true origins: she was the last surviving descendant of the Star Pivot Clan, creators of an ancient mech civilization. At last, she used Divine Punishment to shatter the forbidden control nexus the Mechanical Cult used to command the beast tide, ending a century-long crisis.
