Sassy Wife of the 1980S: The Army Officer Spoils Me as His Boss

Reborn in the 1980s, Wang Ni looks at the haggard “yellow-faced woman” in the mirror, then at the future spent endlessly circling the kitchen stove. Her heart gives a jolt: “I'm done living like this!” In her previous life, she followed her husband wherever he was stationed, worked tirelessly, cared for her husband, Ma Bin, and raised their children. She wore herself out in the prime of her life, only to be left with aches and illnesses and a husband who took everything she did for granted. This time, Wang Ni is going to live differently! “Follow you to your post? No! The kids are going to daycare!” Wang Ni declares firmly. Ma Bin is stunned. “Ni, what are you talking about? Come with me. We'll have a stable life!” “Stable? Having to ask you for every penny and spending all day at the stove, you call that stable?” Wang Ni's eyes shine. “I want to work as a nursery teacher in the neighborhood, and I'm going to learn tailoring from Aunt Zhang! I want to earn money and become a business owner!” Ma Bin sees the light in his wife's eyes, as if they were newlyweds again. He scratches his head. “But... can you really do it? It sounds exhausting!” “Exhausting? I don't care, I'll be happy doing it! Bin, you guard our country's borders, and I'll take care of our home while earning money to help out. Isn't that great? Trust me this once!” From clumsily learning to cut and sew to being praised for her work as a nursery teacher, Wang Ni throws herself into everything. Ma Bin goes from worried to astonished, then proud. His wife has truly changed! She stands tall and smiles more, and she keeps both the home and the children in order. When he comes home on leave, he rushes to help. “Ni, take a break! You're doing a great job as a business owner!” See how the reborn, bold and spirited Wang Ni casts off her apron and makes her way in the 1980s, building a little business of her own, keeping her military man of a husband firmly in line, and making their life together flourish! United as a couple, they build a dream for their family.
