Golden Magician

Story Setting

This is a fantasy world where magic and technology coexist and intertwine. Its magical arts are rich and varied, with alchemy of gold as the most mysterious and powerful branch. It can turn stone into gold, imbue lifeless things with vitality, and even reshape life. However, the abuse of gold alchemy in the past caused numerous disasters, leading the great magical councils to join forces and prohibit it. The related methods of practice and knowledge have nearly been lost.

Many nations flourish in this world, each with a different emphasis on magic and technology. Some rely on magic to keep society running, while others focus on technological research, hoping to use technology to understand and control magic. Their rivalries over resources, territory, and the inheritance of magical arts have never ceased.
