The Long Song of Six Golden Blossoms

The story begins after the founding of New China. Full of enthusiasm and answering the country's call, He Changsheng moves with his family from picturesque Jiangdu in Yangzhou to Huainan in Anhui, where they begin a new life on the banks of the Huai River. Over the next twenty years, He Changsheng and his wife welcome six lovely daughters. But fate bares its cruel fangs without warning: He Changsheng dies in a sudden car accident, leaving his family forever.

With the pillar of the family suddenly gone, the burden of making ends meet falls on the shoulders of the eldest daughter, He Jiali, their grandmother, He Wenshi, and their mother, Liu Meixin. A strong young woman, He Jiali resolutely takes responsibility for the family after her father's death. Together with her grandmother and mother, she supports her younger sisters, working tirelessly and pouring all her heart and strength into helping them build their lives and start families of their own.

As the wheels of time keep turning, the six He sisters each face their own journeys, with all the sweetness and sorrow of romance, the opportunities and challenges of work, and the ups and downs of life. The eldest, He Jiali, grows ever more resilient through life's trials and becomes the family's steadfast support. The gentle second sister, He Jiawen, weathers many storms as she pursues a stable life. The competitive third sister, He Jiayi, keeps challenging herself and striving to make her mark amid the tides of the times!
