Mom Is the Heroine of a Story About Abandoning Her Husband and Children

Mom knew perfectly well that Dad and I were allergic to flour, but she still got up early every day to make us flour-based food.

Dad and I had no choice but to take our breakfast outside and throw it away every day.

The hundredth time we did it, Mom suddenly appeared.

With disappointment written all over her face, she pointed at Dad and me. “I’ve given you ninety-nine chances. I won’t forgive you this hundredth time. I don’t want you anymore.”

I cried and apologized to her, but she still left with her suitcase, resolute.

Dad and I went to look for her countless times, but she coldly turned us away every time.

Later, on my way to school, someone stabbed me.

That was when I learned Mom was an internet celebrity. Online, she had built herself a persona as a blogger who took advice from her followers.

Dad and I were the ungrateful father and daughter in her “win back your wife” revenge story.

To become famous, Mom had fabricated all sorts of scenarios to make it look like we despised her.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day Mom made flour-based food for the hundredth time.
