Anime Crossover: The Cafeteria Owner Who Rules Over the Hundred Demons with Food

After transmigrating into a crossover world combining In/Spectre and Food Wars!, Hanyu Genichi opens a shabby diner that no one visits. A rampaging red ogre kicks down the door, its body crimson and its single horn terrifyingly sharp. The System forcibly activates: calm the out-of-control ogre with clear soba, or die. Hanyu grits his teeth and cooks, infusing the broth with Culinary Soul: Soul-Calming. After one bite, the black smoke around the ogre fades, its horn shrinks, and its skin returns to bronze. It regains its senses on the spot and drops a spirit crystal on the table as payment. "Your noodles can save lives." It leaves a business card: "Contact Iwanaga Kotoko if you need anything." That night, the Special Affairs Bureau 749 comes to investigate. After taking a look around the diner, the team leader reports: "Hanyu Genichi, a genius who appears to have just awakened his Culinary Soul."

The next day, Iwanaga Kotoko arrives at ten on the dot and comes through the door. After tasting the noodles, her left eye glints faintly. "Culinary Soul: Soul-Calming. A soothing ability, and one of the rarest powers in the hidden world. You're valuable enough now that both monsters and the authorities will be keeping an eye on you."

Hanyu wipes a bowl. "And?" She rises, leaning on her cane. "And this diner won't be short of customers anymore, as long as you still dare to open the door."
