War of Resistance: Physique-Enhancing Serum, Wiping Out a Japanese Army Squad

Special forces soldier Li Yunlong transmigrates into the world of Drawing Sword and inhabits the body of a regimental commander with the same name at Cangyun Ridge. He activates the God-Level Choice System from the start. His choice is to break through the Sakamoto Regiment head-on, and his reward is a 107 mm rocket launcher and a 98K sniper rifle.

He immediately disobeys the order to retreat. A salvo of twelve rockets blankets the area and pulverizes Sakamoto's headquarters. A second salvo obliterates the mortar positions, and a third tears apart the machine-gun defenses. The New First Regiment smashes straight through the Japanese elite encirclement. The commander-in-chief is so furious he slams the table and threatens to punish him, but Li Yunlong simply takes his troops and disappears, fighting as he builds his forces. Along the way, he rescues over three hundred POWs and recruits Wei Dayong as his bodyguard. The System then provides a body-enhancement serum, an ammunition production line, and a resource map of the Jin-Sui region. With a hundred jin of gold in hand, he expands his army from six hundred men to more than ten thousand. Others fight the Japanese with human waves; Li Yunlong fights them with overwhelming firepower. Years later, on the Korean battlefield, he leads his troops against the Americans in the frozen wilderness of Lake Changjin and never suffers a defeat.

At the rank-insignia ceremony, Li Yunlong looks at the general's insignia on his shoulder and finally smiles. "This time, I won't have to be a major general anymore."
