Food Wars!: A Manchu-Han Banquet Cookbook, Unleashing the Cooking Light

After transmigrating to the world of Food Wars!, Ye Han starts with an All-Purpose System. At just fifteen, he runs a Chinese restaurant all by himself. His shredded pork with garlic sauce is so good it draws people from all over the street, and regulars line up all the way to the curb. Erina Nakiri barges in with Hisako in tow. She orders tempura and gets a sharp retort, then orders teriyaki and gets brushed off. Finally, Ye Han stuffs a bite of Qing Palace Ten-Thousand Blessings Pork into her mouth. Her legs go weak on the spot. "This meat... it's dancing on my tongue!"

The System's upgrade compensation arrives: the Divine Eye, which sees the essence of ingredients; a master chef's knife that moves with effortless precision; and 108 exquisite dishes from the Manchu-Han Imperial Feast. When the Golden Cuisine effect kicks in, his cooking shines with holy light. The diners in the room stare in shock: "The food... it's glowing!"

At the banquet celebrating Totsuki's director-general Senzaemon Nakiri, Ye Han walks into the kitchen carrying his cleaver. Gin Dojima frowns and blocks his way. "This is no place for you." Ye Han's knife flashes, tracing a cold gleam through the air. He sets a plate of Dragon and Phoenix in Tender Affection in front of Gin. Golden light explodes, and Gin shudders all over.

"This dish... defies reason."

Ye Han ties on his apron and turns back with a grin.

"I'm here to tear the roof off Totsuki."
