The Immortal Canon

Liu Lang discovers something unexpected: once this underground tunnel is dug all the way through, it connects to none other than the Immortal Pool in Immortal Spring Palace, where the beauties bathe at night after a busy day. From then on, whenever he has free time, Liu Lang heads into the tunnel to dig. He and his mouse companion finally break through after all their hard work, then make a few modifications. The night they finished, Liu Lang went wild with excitement, howling at the moon in the medicinal fields for ages. From then on, the man and mouse enjoyed a blissful life of peeping, carefree and content. The boundless Way of Heaven goes unseen by all; an immortal tome remains in the mortal world. We were ordinary mortals to begin with, yet our resolve to seek immortality will never die.
