The Immortal Canon

Liu Lang made an unexpected discovery: once the tunnel was dug through, it connected not to some other place, but to the Immortal Pool in the Immortal Spring Palace, where the beauties bathed at night after a busy day. From then on, whenever he had some free time, Liu Lang would dig away in the tunnel. At last, after all that hard work, he and his mouse dug through and made a few modifications. That night, once the tunnel was complete, Liu Lang went wild, shouting at the moon in the medicinal fields for ages, his excitement impossible to contain. From then on, the man and his mouse enjoyed a happy life of spying, carefree and content. The boundless Way of Heaven goes unseen, but an immortal tome remains in the mortal world. We were once ordinary people, yet with our hearts set on immortality, we never gave up seeking the Way.
