Forbidden Desires

At her ex-boyfriend's engagement party, everyone is waiting to see Zhou Tang make a fool of herself. Instead, she makes a grand entrance on Jiang Yan's arm. "This is my boyfriend."

They are only pretending to be a couple, but Jiang Yan plays the part to perfection.

He is considerate and attentive in every way. Worried that work is going badly for her, he arranges for his friends to help. Worried she isn't eating well, he cooks for her himself. Worried she can't sleep, he warms her bed and tucks her in.

Afterward, Zhou Tang tells him, "Let's make the act real."

But he takes the hand of the woman he has always loved and says, "Zhou Tang, I hope you haven't misunderstood what this has been."
