At her ex-boyfriend’s engagement party, everyone was waiting to see Zhou Tang make a fool of herself. Instead, she made a grand entrance on Jiang Yan’s arm. “This is my boyfriend.” Their relationship was supposed to be pretend, but Jiang Yan played the part to perfection. Worried she wasn’t sleeping well, he warmed her bed and tucked her in. Later, Zhou Tang told him, “Let’s make the act real.” But he took his first love’s hand. “Zhou Tang, I hope you haven’t misunderstood what this was between us.”
