Ruling the Realm

This is an online novel with a historical time travel theme. The plot is protracted, the articles are lengthy, the protagonist is constantly cheating, and the various settings are contradictory and unreasonable. But the faults do not hide the advantages. This is a novel with obvious personal style and outstanding shortcomings and advantages. The advantages are obvious, the writing is good. You can't just say that someone is showing off their writing skills just because you haven't read enough good books and are used to reading naive and cool writing by novices, and you can't appreciate well-crafted articles. This book has great advantages in terms of writing. When the author narrates a political, economic, cultural and military history covering decades of the imperial machine, he appears to be very calm and relaxed, even to the point of astonishment. The author's sophisticated research on Song history and references to allusions are at his fingertips. Then the plot and characters are also remarkable. The plot of Han Yukun turning the world around is the turning point of the whole story. In terms of military, it can be seen by comparing it with Zichuan, Beast Blood, Tianxingjian, and Jiuzhou. Culturally, it involves Confucianism, and it is also obvious by comparing it with the interpretations of Buddhism and Taoism in various martial arts, fantasy and immortality. The author's understanding of the political, military and cultural aspects of the story does not reveal any flaws in the overall logic. Ordinarily this should be a basic requirement, but firstly, many people can't do it, and secondly, he does it really well, so this is very outstanding. Secondly, the author is good at creating conflicts and suspense in tight areas, and large-scale elaboration and narration in loose areas. In this way, although the whole article is very long, the reading process is not boring and it is not easy to break away from the plot. In addition to the main characters and the main plot, the author spent a lot of pen and ink on the secondary characters and even insignificant characters as well as some irrelevant plots, which makes the work more rich and three-dimensional. In terms of shortcomings, we do not discuss the logic of shaping and changing the world, the rationality of political plots and military plots, and other setting issues. Some commonly used allusions and historical common sense in the book are mentioned over and over again. Are you afraid that someone will start reading from the halfway point? All in all, there are still flaws, so please be patient and welcome criticism and discussion.

First let me tell you my thoughts on reading this book. I have been reading it for nearly a year. I was very happy when I discovered that Qimao had this book last month. I will continue reading it here. It is really too long, hahahahaha! As a current junior in college, I am not sure whether the technological and military plot in it is reasonable, but in terms of details, it is the most sophisticated book I have read in more than ten years of reading. Some people may think this book is long-winded and unreadable, but by studying the Party and Studying the Party (such as me), I learned a lot of historical knowledge about the Song Dynasty from it, and compared it with other dynasties, I learned a lot. The author has a strong historical foundation and a wide range of knowledge, the character creation is reasonable, and the plot progress is well-founded. In terms of conflict and suspense, the author can always find a way to break through the stereotypes. The Yin Ruins are thrilling, and the real experiences and characters of historical figures can be better presented. Although it is a time-travel transformation novel, the author is very careful in this regard. Many classic story authors can easily quote and quote from classics, which made me learn a lot. The only fly in the ointment is the description of the "veteran villains" such as Sima Guang and Wen Yanbo. To be honest, they are not as good as the "real villains" Liao Ren. They obviously have an aura of brain damage - which is also a common problem in online novels. In order to promote the protagonist, one must borrow the words of the enemy, and in order to create conflict, one has to lower one's own IQ. Technological Goldfinger can only be said to be a matter of judgment. Compared with Die Engineering, Lin Gao and Five Hundred Wastes, it is naturally too idealistic, but compared with most historical novels, it is still quite rigorous. Wang Anshi of the New Party, Lu Huiqing, Wang Gui, Zeng Bu, Cai Que, Zhang Dun, Xue Xiang, Shen Kuo, Lu Jiawen, these people are described by the author quite well. They are not facial expressions, but are continued according to the true personalities of these historical figures. Overall, the content is too long. The first 30% of the content is used as a foreshadowing, and the clues that promote the development of the plot are all buried in the back. It requires patience, otherwise I would not have watched it for a year. The common faults of authors of time-travel novels are that the first is God's perspective or even God's ability, the second is being too studly, and the third is being too greedy. Fortunately, the author of this book did not commit the second problem, which is having one wife and three concubines, and did not rely on women to promote the development of the plot. But the first and third problems are too big. Han Gang is too broad, covering military, civil affairs, medical, science and technology, and all-round talents. You can vigorously develop science and technology, especially the steel, rail, shipbuilding, and artillery industries related to military industry. You can also vigorously develop basic education and reform the imperial examination bit by bit. However, putting on the cloak of Zhang Zaiqiology and competing with the purely theoretical Ercheng Neo-Confucianism and Wang Anshi's new science feels a bit wrong. But the author really put his heart into it and didn't take shortcuts. He did not rely on various strange women to push the plot forward; he did not break out of the circle of the Song Dynasty and become a king on his own to overthrow everything and create a new world for himself. Finally, I am very grateful to cuslaa for bringing us such a thoughtful historical novel.

The writing style is delicate and profound, the author has a clear understanding of history and folk customs, and the plot is compact and rigorous, which is very touching and touching! Great book! Thanks to the author and thanks to Qimao! Originally I thought I only liked martial arts and fairy tales, but now I realize that I like all good novels!

My favorite historical texts are more rigorous than those written in the Tang Dynasty, and more imaginative than those about the Ming Dynasty. And it is full of details. For a bookworm who loves historical texts, I will definitely not be able to put it down and will keep it forever!

A lonely jackal at night longs for a female ghost; a single old man longs for his aunt The beautiful woman looks forward to the rich man, the idle mistress looks forward to the gangster

This is one of my favorite books. The author has a profound foundation in history and Chinese studies. Although the plot follows history, it is arranged with great care. The descriptions of many scenes are really amazing. The people's hearts, interests, and emotions are written in detail, allowing readers to be immersed in the scene. I would like to ask, how can I have such depth with the author?

Is this writing a history or a novel? I put all the true and false information about the Song Dynasty on the Internet into a book, and explain in one sentence whether a lot of protagonists are necessary or not. I don't know what to express. I feel tired when I write it, and I feel tired after reading it.

The writing style is good and the content is good. The highlight is that it refers to a large amount of historical materials. At a glance, you can tell that hard work has been done. The shortcomings are also obvious. It is very long and mostly written in classical Chinese (which is actually historically accurate). It is a headache to read. It takes an hour to read a few chapters. Overall, it's pretty good. The flaws don't hide the flaws. Most of the protagonist's strategies are boiling frogs in warm water. It's not recommended for those who want to see the domineering route.

It's too cumbersome to write. After reading several chapters, the main plot was not laid out, but a lot of historical terms and allusions were introduced in classical Chinese and some uncommon words. To learn history, I might as well go to 24 Histories; to learn classical Chinese, I might as well go to Baijia Lecture Forum. I really don't think it deserves such a high rating, everyone understands. Finding a good book nowadays is like getting lucky.

This is the first time I read this kind of book. I was a little confused at the beginning, but as I read it slowly, I felt pretty good! It feels pretty good, but the author is suspected of being pretentious. He obviously can speak plainly in some places but insists on being literal! ! !
