The Borderlands' Soldier King

Imaginary history + martial arts + Machiavellian wits Special Forces King Lingchuan traveled through ancient times, rose from the ranks of the frontier soldiers, and gradually stirred up the entire world! I have read more than 300 chapters so far, and have read all the newer books. The plot description is very smooth and the logic is self-consistent. There are basically no brainless villains or embarrassing pretentious slap-in-the-face plots. The protagonist kills decisively and values love and justice. I think the author's description of the battle is very good. It's very enjoyable to watch. The description of the fighting between people is very detailed and makes people immersive. The war between the army and the army is written with great momentum and passion, which is in line with the author's introduction to forging the bones and soul of the nation and creating a heroic soldier on the battlefield! Worth reading! (To talk about something else, I saw some comments talking about the author's martial arts setting. I personally think it is very good. It enriches the content of the novel and makes it more interesting to read. As long as it doesn't write about cultivating immortals, which is too outrageous. Finally, I hope the author will update it quickly. It is not enough to read. If possible, speed up the pace. I am looking forward to the plot of Ling Chuan going to Beijing to meet the saint.)

2025.7.15 I saw almost 100 pictures. The writing is smooth and easy to understand (this is more important). The story structure is compact and lively without delay. I look forward to updating it as soon as possible.

After reading all the chapters updated so far, I found that the plot logic is strong, the context is self-consistent, and I have a good grasp of the battlefield. The enemies are not completely fools. There is a rationality for the protagonist and his game, but the values have begun to inflate. Here are two more important issues: The first is water attack. The background of this article takes place in the northwest region, with plain terrain. In early spring, the surface temperature rises greatly. Rivers are often in the dry season. Even in the wet season, the deepest water attack in a river is only one meter of water. The key to water attack is not to drown people and horses, but to wash away facilities and trap people. The key is to follow up the attack on the destroyed military formation. The second is the Xiongnu. This Xiongnu attack occurred in the spring after the year. This is a fatal mistake in the time-travel novel. In the spring, due to insufficient forage and livestock giving birth, there is no possibility for the nomadic people to form a fighting force. Each tribe will not block the continuation of their tribe for the so-called collective interests. They will lead their herds deep into the grassland to avoid war. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty understood this rule. Huo Qubing led 10,000 cavalry into the grassland and beheaded 9,000 people, disrupting the laws of livestock production. The Huns There were no horses to ride and no meat to eat, which created a logistical advantage for the subsequent summer and autumn offensives, which severely damaged the vitality of the grassland people for two hundred years. If the Xiongnu launched an attack in the spring, it meant that the tribes had given up the period of livestock giving birth, recuperation and reproduction. No matter what the outcome of this battle, the tribes would definitely die. Moreover, the Xiongnu tribe did not have stable food output, and could not afford 600,000 cavalry. To be honest, it would be a challenge to find 600,000 breathing people walking on two feet on the grassland. In ancient times, the cavalry had three horses per person, and the frontier troops who wanted to fight the Xiongnu had four horses per person. In the first battle, they only rode when the horses were empty; one horse and the other prepared horses were rotated to ride on the road; one pack horse carried food and grass, and one cavalry consumed twenty people's food and grass. Huo Qubing's 10,000 cavalrymen only took a long time from gathering to leaving the country, and they ran out of food and grass north of Chang'an. When writing about cavalry, the quantity and logistics need to be considered. Overall, the logic is self-consistent and the writing is fluent, but there are some key details that need to be considered. It is one of the best books I have read recently. Come on.

How much does a Qimao review cost? I want to give it a try too. A book with confusing logic and poor writing can get a rating of 9 or above. It's amazing.

I agree with Tang Keke's evaluation, which is quite detailed. It shows that Tang has read many frontier works and feels the same way! The author's writing is good.

Looks good, looks good, looks good!

The plot is exciting and fascinating, not exaggerated or nonsense, but a little short. I look forward to the follow-up.

The characters are delicately drawn, full of emotions, and the rhythm is well controlled. It's very good.

Good

Overall, if you like time travel and ancient war stories, the novel "Border Soldier King" is indeed worth reading. The novel combines various elements such as time travel, war, and intrigue, and shows the grand scenes of border wars, battlefield battles, and court struggles. In the story, Lingchuan relies on modern wisdom and extraordinary courage to forge the bones and soul of the nation, build heroic armor on the battlefield, and write legends in the light of swords and shadows. It not only depicts fierce war scenes, but also incorporates the grudges and intrigues of the court, with ups and downs of the plot and distinctive characters.
