This list focuses on good books with coherent plots, their own worldviews, and real depth. Whether they're by famous authors or newcomers, anything that fits will be added. A lot of friends have recommended books, and I'm still testing many of them. Work keeps me busy, so I don't have much time to read, but I'll make sure to follow up on everyone's recommendations. Stories may all follow the same patterns, but authors often put a lot of thought into crafting their openings. After that, many fall into the same old routines.
