Strolling Across the Page, Lost in Time
Nothing is perfect, and web fiction is no exception! A recommendation doesn't mean a book is flawless, and criticism doesn't mean I don't love it. This list thrives on both praise and criticism! Plot-Driven Reads, No Hand-Holding: 1. Sci-Fi
A mix of hard and soft sci-fi, including both civilization-building stories and tales of the protagonist's growth. These are sci-fi novels I think suit my tastes: they have fresh settings, relatively complete frameworks, and are enjoyable to read. The male and female leads shouldn't be total airheads, and they should have some brains. The plot shouldn't be so predictable that you know the ending from the opening, and a few surprises are always welcome. The prose shouldn't be a string of exam-sty
