Works I've read and still remember vividly after twenty years as a veteran reader. I have a personal preference for eastern fantasy, xianxia, and wuxia, and I like transmigration and rebirth stories. Transmigration makes it easy to put yourself in the protagonist's shoes, while reborn protagonists are usually mature, level-headed, and good at planning ahead. At the very least, they can keep their composure in a crisis. Most don't have to start from zero and slowly grow into their personalities.
