The Throne of Conquest

The Northern Frontier keeps shrinking, but Ryan has traded his military achievements for a border fortress.

A ruined fortress, twenty-four followers, and a magical beast occupying the forge.

Fortunately, he has obtained the "Seed of Expansion," left behind by an ancient pioneer king. It extracts power from supernatural spoils, turns it into abilities of his own, and lets him imbue weapons and creations on his land with that power.

Seize the Crimson Flame and restart the forge. Hunt mighty foes and arm the army. Expeditions bring back power, wealth, and people. The border fortress grows into a city, and cities unite into a kingdom.

The mines must be seized, secret realms contested, and the ancestral city lost by his family reclaimed.

His people will receive every bit of credit they deserve; his mortal enemies who stand in his way will be wiped out, every last one.

Starting from Graystone Fortress, Ryan will plant his own banner deep in the wilderness.
