The Black Tortoise Bears the Immortal Mountain

Lu Chengyuan, a disciple of Qingfeng Temple, went out to sea to gather herbs, hoping to trade them for a couple of pills and advance his cultivation by one step.

But after cutting the formation cords that bound a trapped creature and saving a black tortoise, he was led to an immortal mountain left behind by an ancient cultivator.

The mountain held a world of its own, but its spiritual veins were too weak to support a sect's disciples living there permanently.

As he escaped with the mountain, he also brought back an ancient jade register from the spatial turbulence.

Incense can cleanse spiritual roots, refine materials, and nurture spiritual veins.

His own aptitude could be changed, the sword in his hand could be forged, and this immortal mountain could be restored, inch by inch.

So he rode his sword to compete for opportunities, while the black tortoise slipped through cracks to explore ancient mansions. His fellow disciples opened furnaces and forged artifacts, and the younger disciples gradually learned to stand on their own.

Once the spiritual veins in the mountain had grown strong, he would bring his master and fellow disciples there.

The black tortoise bore the mountain as the sect journeyed into the distance.

No matter how far the path to immortality stretched ahead, he would seek eternal life for himself and take this mountain, his home, with him on the journey.
