Sword and Sorcery: The War Chronicles of the Continent of Elan

Ten thousand years ago, the continent of Elan erupted into the Final Holy War between gods and demons. The gods fell, the fallen gods fled, and divine curse-marks rained across the world, becoming calamities the continent could not overcome.

All who touched a curse-mark saw their power surge, their reason wither, and their minds descend into blood-soaked madness. The world branded them heretics. The Radiant Holy Light Church ruled over matters of faith, while the three great human empires held dominion over the lands. Together, they hunted down every bearer of the curses, burying their dark fate deep beneath the dust of history.

Ryan, a boy from the remote village of Luofeng, had known little but hardship since childhood. In his youth, he accidentally came into contact with an ancient curse-mark, and the Abyss left its mark on his soul. When the local goblins trampled his village beneath their iron hooves and his parents died in a pool of blood, his unbearable grief unleashed the curse within him. The boy lost control and slaughtered the invaders, but drew the attention of high-ranking goblins who hunted him down, driving him into an ancient ruin sealed away for ten thousand years.

At the end of his rope, fate brought him face to face with two supreme treasures: the forbidden demonic sword Bloodthirst, which devoured blood and life and housed a dark divine soul, and an ancient dragon egg that had lain dormant for ten thousand years.

From then on, the nameless boy gripped a calamity-bringing demon sword, bore the fate of a heretic, and carried the blood feud of his entire village as he set out on a life of hardship and adventure.

He traveled through countless secret realms across the continent of Elan, gathered fated companions from different races and divergent paths, unlocked the power to change classes, and fought across ancient ruins, tore open rifts to the Abyss, and stood against the Church's Inquisition and the empires' iron cavalry.

As the boy gradually exposed the Church's thousand-year-old lies, uncovered the truth behind the war between gods and demons, and confronted the returning Fallen God of Order and its plot to destroy the world, he would ultimately shoulder the continent of Elan's apocalyptic calamity. Scorned by the world as a heretic, he would wield the dark demon sword and command an ancient divine dragon.
