Honghuang: I Am the Shadow, Master of Corrosion and Darkness

Pangu split chaos apart with a single stroke of his axe. Pure energy rose to form the heavens, while turbid energy sank to form the earth. Yet in a crack in the void, a dark rift remained, untouched by any light.

When Lu Yuan wakes up, he has become the first pure shadow between heaven and earth. He has no flesh-and-blood body, no yin and yang or five elements, only a face formed from black mist and three cold, bluish-white cracks.

In this Primordial World, where mighty beings compete in magical power, divine calculations, and innate grand formations, Lu Yuan's arrival shatters all convention:

Innate grand formations are impregnable. Even the young Daoist Hongjun has to spend years slowly prying their formation cores loose. But with [Shadowstep], Lu Yuan steps through the shadow on a mountainside and straight into the heart of a formation, snatching the Fortune-Bestowing Green Lotus right before everyone's eyes.

Demon Ancestor Luohu is peerlessly domineering, seeking to suppress all directions with boundless killing intent. Lu Yuan unleashes [Nether Corrosion], instantly severing the Demon Ancestor's six senses and spiritual awareness, leaving him blind and deaf in an instant.

The ferocious beasts and baleful spirits everyone else avoids become the finest fuel for the evolution of his Shadow System.

When the war between immortals and demons breaks out and Luohu detonates the spiritual ley lines of the West, the mighty beings of every faction retreat. By then, Lu Yuan has already unfurled the [Grand Void Return-to-Void Barrier], stealing the twelve-petaled World-Destroying Black Lotus and the God-Slaying Spear right under the eyes of countless immortals. With a casual [Heavenly Projections], he lets a sky full of magic treasures smash his afterimages while his true body laughs coldly from millions of miles away, collecting the spoils.

No one can calculate his past life, deduce his karma, or see his true form.

From a wisp of lingering mist at the birth of heaven and earth to the Dark Night Sovereign, whose name makes the gods and demons of the heavens tremble.

That day, the Saints looked up and saw a colossal shadow-form rise from the abyss!

He does not bow to Hongjun, nor rely on Primordial Violet Qi. Through the pure laws of darkness, he alone attains the Great Unity of the Primordial Realm!
