Rule Horror: Starting with the Folk-Custom New Year's Eve Instance

The Blue Star has lost touch with its folk traditions, and the uncanny has descended! The Dragon Kingdom has lost five matches in a row, its national fate is waning, and it faces the threat of destruction! Yun Xi, who has transmigrated here, is selected to enter the S-class Purgatory instance [New Year’s Eve]. He sees the blood-soaked rule: No red may appear on New Year’s Eve, or you will die! Viewers around the world tremble in fear, while chosen players from other countries are so terrified they burn their red underwear in the middle of the night. But Yun Xi just laughs. “It’s scary what a lack of knowledge can do. This rule is trying to make you deliver takeout to the Nian beast!” And so, the whole scene takes a sudden turn! While everyone else hides in closets from ghostly shadows, trembling with fear, Yun Xi decorates his home with bright lights, puts up red couplets, and yells at a ghostly granny covered in corpse spots: “It’s New Year! Why are you pulling such a long face? Get in the kitchen and make dumplings! Pork and scallion filling!” While everyone else hears firecrackers and is scared out of their wits, Yun Xi lights a ten-thousand-string firecracker, blasting the S-class uncanny Nian beast into a panicked retreat and onto its knees, begging for mercy! Viewers around the globe go crazy. “Holy crap! He didn’t go in there to survive. He went in to celebrate New Year!” As the first ray of sunlight falls, Yun Xi kicks open the door and salutes the empty air. “Happy New Year!” The instance collapses, and the Dragon Kingdom’s national fate returns at full strength! But this is only the beginning! [Qingming Festival Instance]: While others are hunted by a hundred ghosts, Yun Xi whips ghosts with willow branches, dances on graves, and teaches them a lesson! [Ghost Festival Instance]: While others become food in the ghost market, Yun Xi sets up a fortune-telling stall, rakes in ghost money, and becomes the richest man in the underworld! [Ghost Husband Instance]: When a wedding procession collides with a funeral procession, Yun Xi blows the suona and plays “A Hundred Birds Pay Homage to the Phoenix.” A hundred ghosts bow in worship and welcome the Ghost King! Wherever Yun Xi goes, rules make way and nothing is forbidden!
