Investiture of the Gods: More Children, More Blessings, and Even Adopted Sons Count

More children, more blessings. Don't adopted sons count as sons?

The good news: the More Children, More Blessings System lets him change his fate and attain the Primordial Unity as long as he has enough descendants.

The bad news: Yin Shou, the last emperor of the Shang Dynasty, had lost Heaven's favor. His descendants were few, and fate decreed that he would have only three sons.

But he was the emperor of Great Shang, the father of all the people. Every citizen was his child.

Yang Jian was a citizen of Great Shang who had lost his father for no reason, so Yin Shou adopted him.

Nezha was a citizen of Great Shang whose father might as well not have existed, so Yin Shou adopted him.

Sun Wukong was not a citizen of Great Shang, but had neither father nor mother, so Yin Shou adopted him.

As the father of all Great Shang, Yin Shou swore to give every child in the world without a father's love a warm family.

Years later, Yin Shou commanded the Three Thousand Great Dao, took on the Pangu True Body, and strode across Kunlun until he stood before the Jade Void Palace. Gazing at the Heavenly Venerable Yuanshi, he asked, “Pangu fell long ago. Does the Heavenly Venerable lack a father's love?”
