The Ruins of Chen Return to Their Bones

The Ten Thousand Domains were shattered by the Cataclysm of Cangxu, leaving the souls of living beings torn into fragments to drift across the world.

The Guixu Alliance controls secret arts for manipulating soul fragments, but can only create puppets stripped of their true selves.

Lu Shiyan is a surviving core soul from the calamity. His own soul has shattered, splitting into countless incarnations, each with an independent life. Seeking a method to return souls to their bodies while truly preserving their consciousness, he hides his identity and enters the court of the Jing Shuo Dynasty.

At court, disputes over ancient relics flare up, and factions struggle without end. Amid the ruins of the void, the Alliance's various factions scheme and vie for power.

Using his incarnations to lay secret moves across the domains, he navigates both the political machinations of the mortal world and conspiracies in the void. Amid layer upon layer of schemes, he seeks a glimmer of hope that will let the remains of an old friend return.
