Hong Kong: Starting with B-Movies

In 1990, Chen Yuan transmigrates to Hong Kong and awakens the [King of Bad Movies System].

The System has only one requirement: he must make bad movies.

The worse the movies, the more he earns!

So while everyone else racks their brains trying to make good films, Chen Yuan starts figuring out how to make his movies terrible.

The script isn't good enough? Then make it even worse.

The actors aren't up to scratch? I'll only cast newcomers.

The plot makes no sense? That's because you didn't understand it!

The investors demand quality? Sorry, I'm the biggest shareholder!

But what drives him to despair is that the harder he tries, the more the movies he makes are later acknowledged as terrible, yet their box office returns are astonishingly high.

One, two, three...

Before he knows it, Chen Yuan has become Hong Kong's first director to earn ten billion at the box office.

Facing reporters, he looks utterly helpless.

"I'm really not some movie-making genius."

"The movies I make really are terrible!"
