Memory Reclamation Center

The pain, regrets, and memories people cling to do not simply vanish. They become fragmented images of light and shadow, gathering in the “Memory Recycling Station” beneath the city. Recyclers are responsible for cleaning up and destroying discarded memories. The rules are absolute: they must never read, empathize with, or retain another person’s memories. The moment they touch one, the memory holder’s fate becomes bound to the recycler’s, and both are rewritten.
