Dreaming of the Temple

Killed in the mortal realm, you fall into the underworld. Die again in the underworld, and you become a wandering ghost, forever denied reincarnation. The cycle of reincarnation has shattered, the Celestial Court has fallen, and a fog tears apart the realms of yin and yang as ruins from another world spread across their homeland. For some unknown reason, seven dead people have returned to the mortal realm. Their powers are suppressed to the bare minimum. They cannot return to the underworld, nor can they fit into the mortal realm. The daughter of a great general, the daughter of a high-ranking official, a coachman, a female assassin, a spoiled young noble, and a penniless scholar. Ten cultivation realms: Trailblazing, Dao Foundation, Wandering, Soulfire, Core Formation, Mystic Radiance, Evolving Mastery, Earth Spirit, Enlightenment, and Fate Transformation. Ten great factions vie for supremacy: All-Heaven Sect, Interception Sect, Ancient Blessed Lands, Abyss of Ten Thousand Demons, Nightmare Demon Realm, Mortal Abode, Strange Bureau, Fallen God Mountain, Otherworldly Ruins, and Heavenly Law. Starting from the lowest ranks of the Mortal Abode, the protagonists rely on their predecessors' legacies, the geniuses of the present age, and their own discoveries to fight their way through the gap between the two realms. “Since the cycle of reincarnation has shattered, we’ll piece together a new one in the gap between the realms of yin and yang.”
