Dream of the Red Chamber: The Mortal World Rolls East

Since ancient times, every dream of the Red Chamber has been filled with loss and regret. The world rolls on like a mighty river flowing east; prosperity fades, beauty withers, and all twelve beauties are fated to tragic ends. Some die in the imperial palace, some are widowed while still young, some are sent far away as brides, and some spend their lives alone beside a lamp. In the end, all that remains is a vast, empty world. Daiyu, the Crimson Pearl, is reborn with her tears spent, returning to the height of splendor in the Grand View Garden. In this life, she sees through the rise and fall of the household and unravels the prophecies of fate. The tide of events may flow east like a river, beyond her power to change the world's cycles of prosperity and decline, but she can change her own fate and fulfill the promise of springtime that still lingers in the garden. She no longer grieves and pities herself, nor clings to sorrowful tears. With a clear and understanding heart, she gently guides others and rewrites every tragic ending. Here, she defies all the sorrow and creates a perfect life in the mortal world. The world still rolls eastward, and affairs still rise and fall without warning. Only this grand dream of the Red Chamber turns fate on its head, mending every regret left unresolved over three hundred years. The splendor will not fade, the beauty will not wither, and all twelve beauties will find happy endings and lasting peace.
