Cultivation: One Trait Every Hundred Years, and Simulations Count?

Lu Cheng was born into the world as a menial disciple of the Five Elements Sect and obtained a Trait System. He treated others kindly and endured a hundred years of hardship, yet reached only the second level of Qi Refining. At last, however, he obtained his first trait. [Immortal Path Simulation]: Spend ten years of lifespan to activate. Each time, you randomly gain a cultivation talent. When the simulation ends, choose one of the following to inherit: spiritual aptitude, cultivation realm, or magic treasure and spirit pet. During the simulation, he could even draw a trait once every hundred years! In his first simulation, he gained the talent [Earthflame Body], which burned away the impurities within him and upgraded his low-grade spiritual aptitude to a mid-grade fire spirit root. He devoted himself to secluded cultivation and extended his lifespan. Despite reaching only the sixth level of Qi Refining, he lived to two hundred and obtained his second trait. [Sixty-Year Rebirth]: Every sixty years, reset your body and remove all negative effects. Your body returns to how it was sixty years ago, including your lifespan. With rebirth without end, his lifespan was effectively infinite. He had already set one foot on the path to immortality. To keep the secret of immortality from getting out, Lu Cheng left the Five Elements Sect, traveled from place to place, and assumed different identities. But his vital energy declined, and his cultivation stagnated. At three hundred, he obtained his third trait. [Late Bloomer]: Focus on a single craft and practice it for a hundred years. You are certain to achieve mastery. Lu Cheng chose weapon forging. By the time he was four hundred, he had become a third-tier weapon forger and obtained his fourth trait. [Golden Light Across the Earth]: The strongest surface-traveling technique. Transform into a streak of golden light and reach a place ten thousand li away in an instant. Lu Cheng kept lying low until, at the age of one thousand and twenty-four, he was caught in the battle between the righteous and demonic factions and killed by the fighting of a demonic cultivator at the Deity Transformation stage. [First simulation ended. Calculating results...] Lu Cheng: Holy crap! So it's a war between the righteous and demonic factions? I spent over a thousand years keeping my head down! Just you wait!!
