Tide on the Strings

I've never written anything before, so I'm giving it a try ꒰˶>ᗜ<˶꒱

A pinewood music room, old scores, and the fading light of dusk.

Two people who guard their boundaries, with a rising tide hidden in their hearts.

Affection gathers in the silence, emotions taut as strings, trembling and breaking at the slightest push.

No touch crosses the line, only a longing on the verge of losing control, poised at a tipping point that will never be crossed.
