Pretending to Be a Genius in a World of Idiots

In fact, this is a good idea. If it is well written, it will be a master's essay without any barriers. However, the author made a mistake that he shouldn't have made - he really wrote according to the routine of a master's essay. What's the best part about studying Bawen now? Great results? Fame and fortune? The righteousness of family and country? I think the essence is still thinking. The thoughts of the protagonist of Xueba are not obvious to ordinary readers. These thoughts make readers feel that they have also thought, or it is precisely because they need to invest enough energy to understand that the readers have a sufficient sense of superiority towards the supporting characters in the book - these are the cool points of the current mainstream Xueba novels in my opinion But what about this book? The setting of the mentally handicapped world simplifies the thinking process. Readers who have received a complete nine-year compulsory education can understand the protagonist's thinking without using their brains (this should be the case according to the setting). This deprives Xueba Wen of its unique and exciting points and turns the novel into a purely enjoyable novel. In this case, there are generally two writing directions: Lower Riba people want exaggerated and brainless emotional content like AI comics, which is pure and refreshing; Yangchun Baixue wants to write about the protagonist's high-spirited and youthful spirit, about the protagonist's pursuit of progress in a mentally retarded world, about communicating with a few "smart people", or even about the protagonist trying to solve everyone's mental retardation. But the author currently neither refers to Shuangwen's routines, nor does he write enough "Yangchunbaixue" - he uses a large number of free chapters to describe the protagonist's initial confusion and mid-term hesitation. By the second major event in Chapter 48 (playing chess), he does not write about the protagonist's vigor or anything else. This makes the overall impression a bit unsatisfactory. I really want to use my brain to watch Xuebawen, but I really want to enjoy it but I can't enjoy it here. Of course I know that for the author, such a plot design should consider shaping the character's growth arc, but I think it is putting the cart before the horse in terms of the characteristics of the subject matter. Ask yourself, what would you do if you really traveled to such a mentally retarded world? The constant stupidity of people around you will make you arrogant. You should be high-spirited, aloof, and deal with "smart people" instead of looking forward and backward. How did the author deal with this? He wrote that the protagonist no longer looked forward and backward, and was ready to show his edge. But the story only focused on the outcome, not the protagonist's spirit, nor did it spend enough pen and ink to describe the supporting characters' "shock" towards the protagonist. And I don't know if the author didn't realize that even if there is a sure-win method for black in backgammon, many people don't know it, including 33 Forbidden Hands, Huayue and so on. This is the so-called "curse of knowledge." The author may think this is common sense, but the scope of common sense in each field is also very mysterious to people who have not been exposed to that field. I think this idea is suitable for popular science writing, just write about the interesting and unique aspects of these "common sense".

Ordinary people are geniuses when it comes to mentally retarded people. Why do we use the word pretend? Is the protagonist also mentally retarded?😠

Writing about global mental retardation is not as interesting as writing about global indifference

If you have any good ideas, you can leave a message, such as a live broadcast with Conan (Jie), etc. If you have any bugs in the plot, you can also leave a message. I will change it if you see it.

I feel like I'm mentally retarded or too smart.

It's a good idea. I'm tired from reading other books. I can relax by reading this.

Has the author written books on other platforms? You can borrow a frame

Why do you, such a variant of academic overlords, always write about daily life and the history of mentally retarded people? You set your expectations for "normal people among the mentally retarded" so high, but instead of writing about how the protagonist pretends to be an academic overachiever, you write about the minor aspects of mentally retarded people.
