Remarks on the release of "The Record of the Holy Sword of Clear Light" Dear book friends: "The Record of the Holy Sword of Clear Clearance" thanks every reader who has read it here. Whether you have been following it all the way from the first chapter or you have just entered the trap, if you can see this passage here, it means that there is already a fate between this book and you. I spent a long time polishing this book from the beginning to the final outline. The idea of writing this book first came from a very simple impulse: I wanted to see a child standing on a cliff thousands of meters high, splitting an entire sea of clouds with an iron sword. This picture kept spinning in my mind for a long time, and then it slowly grew into Zhou Botong, Mu Qinghong, Xiao Yun, the snow in Tongming Temple, the ice in Snowflake Cave, and the lights and voices of Baicheng. Many people have asked me what I want to write about in this book. It's complicated to say the least - the immortal order, the fate of heaven, the grudges between master and disciple, the torture of talent and diligence. To put it simply, it is simple: a child has been frozen for ten years. Some people go to save him, some people stop him halfway, some people wake up halfway, and finally everyone returns to their place. There are seven chapters in the first volume about a seven-year-old child practicing swordsmanship. I know this is a risky way of writing. The pace of online writing nowadays is usually faster, and readers will leave without seeing any conflict in three or five chapters. But I wrote it anyway. Because Ling'er's sword-refining process is not just training, it is the source of all the cause and effect in the entire book - if the sword light that splits the sea of clouds is not written seriously enough, all the pain, all the hatred, and all the redemption that follows will be light. I need you to see how bright that sword is before you understand how painful it is to lose it. Writing the role of Mu Qinghong made me very tired. It's easy to write a pure villain, but it's hard to write someone who makes you feel like "he could have been different." He practiced hard for forty years, but he could not get the talent of twelve days. This thing is not fair, not many things in the world are fair. But the most painful thing about him was that he knew in his heart that his anger was actually untenable. Ling'er didn't do anything wrong, Zhou Botong was just in love with a more talented child. The object of his hatred was the illusory thing of "the injustice of heaven", so he transferred his hatred to a specific person. When I was writing about him, I kept thinking: If he had taken the wrong path even once in the ten years after Ling'er was sealed, instead of searching for the secret of the Holy Sword, he would have gone to the Snowflake Cave and stood at the entrance of the Snowflake Cave all night to think about the child, would the ending have been different? He didn't go even once. Xiao Yun is the character I wrote most smoothly. The setting of the Pill Protector's private lower realm has been in my outline for a long time. She appeared in Baicheng, heard the news from Kunlun, had silver streaks on her palms, and read the book late at night. These plots almost flowed out automatically. Her power comes from "returning" - not breaking something, but putting everything back where it belongs. When I was writing about her, I kept thinking: Does a fifteen-year-old girl feel panic when she stands up and decides to go to Kunlun in the chaos where tens of thousands of people are collapsing? Of course she panicked. But she suppressed her panic because she knew that if she didn't do it, no one would. This book has thirty-four chapters and an epilogue, about 140,000 words. Short? It's not too long for a web article. But I want to write every battle clearly and every character thoroughly in this space. You shouldn't cut out the actions that should be there because of lack of space, and you shouldn't leave out the emotions that should be kept because of "rhythm." The following chapters will be updated continuously without interruption. When it comes to writing a book, sitting alone under a lamp and typing slowly while someone is waiting to read is already a great encouragement. Finally - thank you for your support. Volume 3 "Master-disciple relationship collapses", Zhou Botong versus Mu Qinghong. On the desolate road, the master and the apprentice faced each other with swords. See you in the text.
