The city lost power, traffic was paralyzed, and industrial mechas were forced to take to the battlefield. Underground at Base No. 9, Maintenance student Shen Buqi awakened a black star embryo from the ruins. It has no cockpit, does not accept remote control, and does not issue missions. It will hurt, it will be hungry, and it will grow out of Shen Buqi's flesh and blood when he is dying. The enemy's carapace, acid sacs, and sensory organs are all materials it uses to repair itself and continue to evolve. Longguo used factories, railways, scientific research institutes and ordinary mechas to defend the front line.
