A Flood Dragon Is Born in America

A stone egg drifts in from the depths of the universe and crashes into Lake Ontario in America. It hatches in the water, and the flood dragon Liu Pei emerges from its shell.

Where the hell am I?

Liu Pei wakes on the lakebed and looks around in confusion. Two whiskers keep swishing before his eyes, interrupting his thoughts.

What the heck are those?

After taking stock, Liu Pei realizes that he seems to be just a little different from before.

Did I turn into a dragon?

Legend says that flood dragons feed on qi to prolong their lives, and gain spiritual power by consuming rain.

After transmigrating into a flood dragon, Liu Pei discovers that the ancients were telling the truth. But the effects of this qi are not quite what he imagined.

Qi exists throughout the universe. Although flood dragons can absorb it directly, it only fills their bellies.

To turn qi into spiritual power, they must first convert it into gentler dragon qi, then spread it with clouds and rain so that all living things can absorb it and, in turn, nourish the flood dragon.

This is simply a dragon's nature. Liu Pei follows his instincts and begins spreading dragon qi across America.

Dragon qi returns to Earth, and strange phenomena erupt across America.

A giant serpent blocks a mountain road, a tiger sprouts wings, a cave-dwelling flood dragon comes back to life, a girl holds a spirit vessel, a policewoman conjures flames, an old Taoist rides a crane;

intelligence awakens, zombies reappear, monsters rise from the sea, giants tear up mountains, a female knight wields a greatsword, and a nun holds a holy book;

and so on, all because dragon qi has returned...
