"There Are No Immortals in the Mountain" is an Eastern Taoist novel about monsters and immortals, which combines folk suspense, Taoist practice, secrets of old immortals and character growth. The story begins with the "Mountain God Marriage" in a remote mountain village. When he was seven years old, Xu Guishan saw his sister Xu Zhaoxue wearing a red wedding dress being sent into the mountains by the whole village and disappeared ever since.
