The Ninth Abyss

You don't remember when you started falling. Silence woke up in a gray corridor, soaked all over, with a copper piece in his pocket that he had never seen before. The corridor had no end, doors appeared and disappeared out of thin air, the clock on the wall had no hands, and the sky outside the window was solid gray purple. This is called "the abyss" - the bottom where all dreamers' consciousness sinks. Some people have stayed here for three years, and some have stayed here for ten years. No one knows how to go back, and no one knows that they will still be themselves after going back. The rules change every day, the space breathes, your worst fears appear out of thin air, and it knows where you are. You can protect yourself by holding on to the anchor - at least that's what everyone said, but Silence soon discovered that those who seemed to be the most adaptable here were the most terrifying. The nine-layered abyss becomes more ancient as you go down, and becomes less and less like a place for humans. However, at the bottom of the abyss, some people claim to have seen the exit. Others claim that the exit is the deeper entrance. Are you still sinking? Or have you stopped struggling?
