Golden State Legend

"Legend of the Golden State" takes the three thousand years of historical changes in Ankang in southern Shaanxi as its latitude and longitude. It starts from Liangzhou, which was divided into nine states by Xia Yu, and goes through the hometown of Yong in the Shang and Zhou dynasties and the glory of Yong Guo Muye, to the drowning of King Zhao of the Han Dynasty in the Han Dynasty and Chuzhuang. The tragic story of the king uniting Qin and Ba to destroy mediocrity; from Qin's establishment of Xicheng County and Cao Cao's separation of Xicheng County, to Emperor Wu of Jin's settlement of refugees and the naming of Ankang with the meaning of "ten thousand years of happiness, peace and prosperity", to the Western Wei's establishment of Jinzhou due to the flourishing of sand and gold. The novel takes the Han River Basin as the stage, with gold mining and smelting as the undercurrent, depicting the vicissitudes of this land of "Qin at the beginning and Chu at the end" during the changes of dynasties and wars and conquests, and tells the legend of survival from mediocre warriors to common people mining for gold. The work interweaves geographical scenery and history. In the clouds and mists of Bashan in the Qinling Mountains and the glitter of sand and gold in the Moon River, it outlines an epic scroll about the memory of the land, the blending of civilizations and the prayer for peace.
