Eternal Life Plan

The story takes place in the near future. Human society is highly developed, but mental anxiety has increased unprecedentedly. Capital is deeply tied to scientific research, and a secret experiment called the "Immortality Project" is close to a breakthrough. Its core principle is: human consciousness is extracted and uploaded to a virtual "eternal realm", and the physical body is disposed of. The experiment claims that "eternal life is within reach", but the cost is unknown.
