Creepy Beasts

The memory was cut away, as if someone had taken something out of the brain with a dull knife. Only things that should not be his were left: the claws growing on his fingertips, the virus whispering in his veins, and the insatiable thirst for flesh and blood in his stomach. The world has collapsed, like a corpse slowly liquefying in the summer sun. There are things swimming in the sky that shouldn't exist, and there are predators older than anything in the world hiding in the darkness. Life becomes food, becomes material, becomes clay in the hands of some will. He is thrown into a game and he wants to survive, but in this world, living itself is a sacrilege.
