Legend of Zhenwu Emperor

Synopsis of the story of "The Treasure Scroll of the Zhenwu Emperor" In the late Yuan Dynasty, Dugu Chongru, a Confucian scholar, suffered from the loss of his family and his family. He angrily denounced the hypocrisy of gods and Buddhas, and swore a poisonous oath to "not worship gods but to create gods." After his death, his resentment resonated with Chi You's remaining soul and turned into "the real person who broke the saints". He firmly believed that "gods are man-made", secretly learned forbidden arts, and created the "Seven God-killing Styles" in order to kill the old gods, establish new gods, and overthrow the order of the three realms. Emperor Zhenwu descended to earth under the orders of the Jade Emperor and was reincarnated as Zhu Zhen'er, the son of the Zhu family in Nanjing. He practiced cultivation in the human world, subdued the two generals, the tortoise and the snake, saved his mother from hell, married the empress Shan Sheng, and gave birth to nine sons. Dugu Posheng incarnated as Dugu Chou, and was reincarnated as the son of the Zhu family's feud. He repeatedly obstructed Zhenwu, even poisoning wedding banquets, kidnapping babies, colluding with Japanese evil gods, and starting a war between gods and demons. Dugu Posheng's obsession and Zhenwu's compassionate way form the ultimate opposition. He broke the seal of Beiming after a hundred years, causing suffering in the world and forcing the gods to run for their lives. In the end, his own "god-making logic" backfired - a young god-maker used the seven God-killing techniques he created to beat him to death. Zhenwu collected the corpse of Dugu Posheng and buried it in Wudang Mountain without erecting an inscription. He left behind a legacy: "Gods are not created, but are needed. Dugu Posheng needs enemies, so he is the God of War; people need peace, so I am the God of Mercy. There is no high or low in Tao, only response." Zhenwu returned to heaven with Shan Sheng and his nine sons. Purple clouds covered the roof, and the treasure scroll was completed. Although Dugu Posheng is dead, his question of "creating gods" is like a warning bell, forcing the three worlds to reflect on the origin of faith.
