Journey to the West True Book

In the late Qing Dynasty, the country declined. Hanlin editor Chen Xinchuan traveled westward with a secret order to obtain the true scriptures that would enrich the country and strengthen the army. Outside Quanzhou Port, he awakened the divine turtle Guiyuan, who had been sleeping for three hundred years - the beast of burden for Zheng He's treasure ship. In the Confucian Temple, Qingyuan Mountain, and the ruins of Shaolin Temple, they conquered the Confucian golden-haired turtle Sun Shouren (Chunqiu Brushstrokes), the Taoist jade-faced black crane Zhu Shouhe (Tai Chi whisk), and the Buddhist nine-headed golden lion Sha Shoujing (wooden fish bell). The three religions united and headed westward in the same boat. The Guiyuan treasure ship followed Zheng He's chart and passed through the South China Sea, India, Persia, the Mediterranean, Europe, America, and Japan, and went through eighty-one hardships. They made peace with Datuk Gong with the word "don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you", moved Kali with "non-violence", convinced Shiva and Ahura with the "symbiotic relationship of yin and yang", received the thunder of Zeus with the word "respect", redeemed the wronged souls in the Tower of London with the word "forgiveness", and tamed the evil dragon of industry with the word "benevolence". They discussed the art of martial arts with Athena, the yin-yang dialectic with Hegel, transcendentalism with Emerson, and reflected in the mirror with the Indian undead and Amaterasu. Every difficulty is not about conquering, but about dialogue, understanding and integration. After two years of hardship, Chen Xinchuan returned to China with a box full of classics, only to see Guangxu imprisoned and the reform failed. He hid the manuscript in the cellar of his ancestral home with regret. The three guardians returned to the famous mountain, and Guiyuan took the young man back to sea again. Twenty years later, a student discovered "The Journey to the West" from a pile of old books. On the last page, there was a rose drawn and the words: "The flowers bloomed. The seeds are still there."
