A Lie with the Scent of Osmanthus

The scent of osmanthus is a lie. It makes you think every autumn is golden, every street is warm, and no father ever grows old. But you want to be fooled. A brain-computer interface “repairs” his father's memories. The son discovers that what has been healed is not the real past, but a tender lie woven by an algorithm. He must choose between his father's happiness and the truth of human memory, with no right answer to guide him.
