In the mid-21st century AD, we discovered that we were being watched. We live in a huge cage and are nothing more than the playthings of advanced civilizations. Civil war, suspicion, and ideological disunity have all become obstacles to saving the earth. We are helpless in the face of the Oort cloud barrier, and no known human civilization can establish any contact with it. Is humanity going to perish?
