I’m a Spirit-Exorcising Zombie in Tokyo

Shen Kurokawa, who transmigrated into the body of a Tokyo high school student, has a secret.

He's a thousand-year-old zombie who woke up in an ancient tomb.

The good news: He's awakened a System that lets him cultivate magic arts, exorcise the uncanny and evil, and devour them to grow stronger fast.

The bad news: It all costs money. Actual yen, to be precise... It's a pay-to-win System.

This is a Japan where the supernatural has returned, evil spirits run rampant, and great demons are emerging.

But...

Why is an ancient demon sealed inside his cute exorcist partner so murderous toward him?

Why does his female classmate keep dreaming that she's accompanying an ancient Onmyoji whose face she can't make out?

Why has a crack appeared in the underworld, and why has the supernatural returned?

Who does the undying King of Curses, who has survived for a thousand years, bear an irreconcilable grudge against?

When every source at the heart of the world points to someone who died a thousand years ago, Shen Kurokawa looks bewildered, feeling as if he's been blamed for everything.

“Listen, let me explain. I really didn't do any of that!”
