Nine holes hide secrets, and there is light in Shu
We always think that history sleeps under the soil and civilization is sealed in cultural relics. Until a bronze fragment stolen from the Sanxingdui sacrificial pit broke through the silence of more than three thousand years, dragging an ordinary person into the secret context of the ancient Shu civilization that has never been completely revealed. The story of this book begins with a bizarrely accurate theft of cultural relics, starting from a wisp of ashes in Pit No. 8 Of Sanxingdui in Guanghan, and finally falling to the origin of civilization in the deepest part of the Chengdu Plain. I use real archaeological historical data as my bones, Chengdu's thousand-year terrestrial veins as my veins, and an interlocking suspenseful pursuit as my flesh and blood to write a story about perseverance, truth, inheritance and protection. There are no fabricated legends in the book. All levels of sacrificial pits, characteristics of artifacts, distribution of sites, and burial ages are all well-founded. From Sanxingdui and Jinsha to the imperial capital of the Ming Dynasty beneath Tianfu Square, from the Maha Pond to the banks of the Jinjiang River, every relic, every old street, and every wisp of fireworks that really exists on this land is the stage for the story. I wrote about the Nine Kong Xuanshu, nine scattered bronze fragments, and an ancient map marked with nine sites. I did not make up the legend of the secret treasure, but wanted to use this clue to connect the complete line of the ancient Shu civilization from its origin to its migration to its capital, Chengdu. Details not recorded in history books, unsolved mysteries in archaeology, and past events spread among the people are all hidden in every step of the protagonist's investigation. This is an archaeological suspense story, and it is also a dialogue across time and space. Some people steal history for personal gain, some people spend their lives guarding civilization; some people plot and manipulate in the dark, and some seek truth step by step under the sun. Zhang Ruoyi, Ye Zhiqiu, Wen Yuanye, and Qiao Ye, four ordinary people met because of a fragment and chased from Sanxingdui to the center of Chengdu. From a theft case, they uncovered a secret confrontation that lasted for decades, and they also stepped closer to the core secret of the ancient Shu civilization. Within the nine holes are the sacrificial fireworks that have not dispersed for thousands of years; outside the nine holes are the unspoken human hearts and truth. For thousands of years in Shu, the wind has passed through the Jinjiang River, and under the dust, there is a true chapter. When you open this book, I hope you can follow the protagonist's footsteps and step into this mysterious and gentle land, see the brilliance of civilization under the soil, and see the never-extinguishing persistence of truth and inheritance in the darkness.
