Honghuang’s Demon Emperor: Starting as the Star Lord of Mao Ri

O soul, return! A wisp of a later age’s spirit transmigrates into the Primordial World and takes possession of the body of the Star Official Mao Ri.

Burdened with the Phoenix Clan’s overwhelming karmic debt, he struggles at every step.

Fortunately, the Chaos Pearl protects him, keeping him untouched by the secrets of Heaven. From then on, he transcends the Three Realms and escapes the Five Elements.

Before the Journey to the West begins, he sets the pieces in motion.

He refines the essence of the nine Golden Crows and forges an immortal pure-yang body.

He trades with the ancient divine mother Xihe, obtaining the Demon-Calling Gourd to command all the demons under heaven and the River Chart and Luo Writing to chart the stars of the cosmos.

He swears brotherhood with the Great Sage Equal to Heaven and conspires to arrange the Golden Cicada’s reincarnation.

Using Heaven and Earth as the board and all living beings as pieces, he lays out an age-old game in silence.

When the journey west ends, his karmic debt is wiped away.

Once an outcast remnant of the Phoenix Clan, he now commands the Demon-Calling Gourd and rules over all spirits.

The three clans of Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin, once mortal enemies, now swear a blood pact and serve one master.

The Heavenly Court is shaken, and the spirit mountain looks on in alarm.

From this moment on, the Primordial World is divided in three, and the Demon Clan’s First Sage emerges into the world.
