Honghuang: With the Treasure-Dropping Golden Coin, I Prove the Dao Through Wealth

Transmigrated as the Treasure-Dropping Golden Coin, I Established the Dao of Wealth in the Primordial World

Zhao Youcai was a financial expert in the modern world. One moment, he was living his old life; the next, he had transmigrated and become the sentient spirit of the Primordial World’s Innate Spiritual Treasure, the Treasure-Dropping Golden Coin.

As he was taking human form, disaster nearly struck. Fortunately, Haotian, newly enthroned as the Heavenly Emperor, came to his rescue. From then on, he was appointed the Heavenly Court’s first God of Wealth, with the title of Mystic Altar True Lord.

This Mystic Altar True Lord did not cultivate the art of slaughter or seek to comprehend divine abilities. Instead, he established an unprecedented Great Dao of Wealth!

“This wealth is no mere worldly trinket. It is the manifestation of the ‘value’ of all things in Heaven and Earth!” Merit, fortune, incense offerings, heavenly treasures, divine abilities, magical power, and even cultivators’ promises and future karma... all could be brought into the Mystic Altar True Lord’s system of wealth, assigned a measure, and made available where needed.

Using wealth as his web, the Mystic Altar True Lord organized the resources of the Primordial World. Before anyone knew it, he had become the one moving the pieces on the board.

The lineages of Saints had to borrow fortune from the Mystic Altar True Lord, while even Daluo Golden Immortals had to turn to him for loans of merit.

Then the Investiture of the Gods calamity arrived. The Jie Sect’s disciples all became gods in the flesh, while the Chan Sect Disciples were all placed on the list as primordial spirits.

Yuanshi Tianzun, the Jade Purity Saint, personally arrived at the Heavenly Court. His Saintly might shook the universe as he demanded an explanation from the Mystic Altar True Lord.

All the immortals in the hall were terrified as the Saint called him to account.

Only the Mystic Altar True Lord calmly opened his palm. The Treasure-Dropping Golden Coin’s Daoist patterns shimmered as he spoke evenly: “The Heavenly Dao is impartial, and everything has its price. If the Celestial Venerable wants to negotiate, of course we can.” “So long as you’re willing to pay an equivalent price.”
