Honghuang: I, Randeng, Bury Heaven, Earth, and All Beings

A soul from later generations transmigrates into the Primordial World, becoming the first coffin between Heaven and Earth, the future Daoist Randeng. When Heaven and Earth first formed, Pangu died and transformed into all things, but his breath had not yet faded. Using his innate divine ability, Randeng gathered Pangu's remaining breath and erected a cenotaph for him at the summit of Vulture Peak. The Great Dao responded, and merit descended, taking form and giving rise to the Hongmeng Measuring Heaven Ruler. He then obtained the Spirit Coffin Lamp within Vulture Peak. This lamp shared the same origin as the coffin, allowing it to communicate with the netherworld and illuminate past lives. It became his companion treasure. Afterward, the Beast Calamity began. Corpses covered the Primordial World, and resentment and baleful energy surged to the heavens. In the form of a coffin, Randeng carried out the work of burial and interment, gathered the remains of the fierce beasts, dispersed the overwhelming baleful energy, and repaired the deficiencies in the Heavenly Dao, earning even more merit. During the Dragon-Han Tribulation, the three clans fought, shattering the Western ley lines and sending baleful energy soaring into the heavens. Randeng entered the West, using the Spirit Coffin Lamp to suppress the baleful veins and the Measuring Heaven Ruler to stabilize the earth's apertures, burying all the tribulation baleful energy beneath the Nine Serenities. The ley lines were restored, and life gradually returned to the West. The Witch-Demon Tribulation shattered the Primordial World. Because of Pangu's cenotaph, Randeng had karmic ties with the Three Pure Ones and the Twelve Ancestral Witches. Everyone respected him for having buried Pangu and treated him with courtesy. Randeng, for his part, moved among them, working tirelessly to preserve the Primordial World. During the Investiture of the Gods Tribulation, the Sages maneuvered against one another, and the Three Realms were thrown into turmoil. Randeng entered the mortal world in response to the tribulation, settling its troubles as one who buried a Sage, and ultimately achieved transcendence. In the form of a coffin, he buried Pangu to open the path, buried the fierce beasts to bear the tribulation, buried the baleful energy to sustain Heaven, and buried the Sage to end the tribulation. With the four burials complete, he became Randeng.
