Stranger in the Mirror

I always thought that the person in the mirror was just a reflection. Until late that night, I was taking off my makeup in front of the mirror, but the person in the mirror didn't blink. It smiled at me, its mouth curved into an arc that I couldn't make. From then on, I didn't dare to look in the mirror again. But no matter where I hide, as long as there is reflection - car window, mobile phone screen, water surface, spoon... That "I" is watching me quietly, imitating my movements, but it is calmer and weirder than me. My friends said I was too stressed, and the doctor said I was hallucinating. Only I know that it is imitating me, familiar with me, and replacing me. It's waiting for an opportunity to step out of the mirror. And I will be dragged into that cold glass world and become its reflection forever.
