Lock the Night

At 8 o'clock in the evening, Huang Wu, who lived alone in an old house of 90 square meters, accidentally discovered that the doors and windows were blocked by mysterious forces, completely cutting him off from the outside world. In this old house with an abnormal rent, strange events happened one after another: flashing chandeliers, crawling shadows, long hair hanging from the ceiling, bloody water, and a strange woman in a white dress, approaching step by step. As the terror escalates, Huang Wu discovers an old photo among the old belongings, which awakens forgotten childhood memories - the woman in the photo, Su Wan, was a tenant of this house and jumped to her death due to love. In his childhood, he had deeply hurt her with words and stones. Throughout the night, Huang Wu endured the dual torment of extreme fear and guilt in a closed space, confronting Su Wan's resentful spirit. It wasn't until sunrise and dawn that he finally let go of his obsession and repented, and the resentful spirit dissipated in the morning light. This grudge and redemption that spanned more than ten years came to an end in a 90-square-meter space.
